Syncarpha’s Hancock Shaker Village solar project is comprised of three large systems totaling 7.0 MW. Situated in Hancock and Pittsfield, Massachusetts, these installations represent Syncarpha’s second, third, and fourth completed Community Solar projects.
These solar arrays offer residential clients the opportunity to cut down on their energy expenses over the long term, promoting local renewable energy production. Importantly, this is achieved without requiring direct financial investment or home installations from the customers. In its inaugural year, Hancock Solar is expected to produce around 8.5 million kWh, benefiting roughly 450 residential Eversource customers within the Western Massachusetts Electric area.
If you’re a Massachusetts resident receiving electricity from National Grid or Eversource (Western MA), you may be eligible to subscribe to this community solar project.
