3 New Syncarpha Community Solar Projects Operating In Maine: Contributing Clean Energy to Central Maine Power Grid

Syncarpha is proud to share that it has received Permission To Operate (PTO) for three new community solar projects in Waldoboro, Edgecomb, and Readfield, Maine. These projects boast a collective 17 MW DC capacity to the Central Maine Power grid, totaling Syncarpha’s community solar portfolio to four operational projects in Maine. Additionally, Syncarpha is finalizing construction on its fifth project in Wiscasset, Maine, projected to become operational in the coming months.

These three new projects are now providing over 2,100 Maine residents access to the community solar benefits generated by the installations. Participating residents will receive a 15% discount on the solar credits generated by these projects, enhancing accessibility to renewable energy solutions while delivering cost-saving opportunities to the local community.

If you’re a Maine resident receiving electricity through Central Maine Power and interested in joining in on the savings, visit our community solar website.
